This 2-hour class, led by Julia, will introduce you to traditional batik techniques and guide you in designing an intricate mandala, applying it to fabric, and using hot wax or cold contour to secure your design before adding vibrant colors. By the end, you'll create a one-of-a-kind piece suitable for framing, wall decoration, or clothing. Mindfulness and Presence: As you engage in the creative process, you'll be encouraged to embrace mindfulness, helping you focus, breathe deeply, and find tranquility. Concentrating on your breath and brushstrokes will enhance your artistic flow and promote inner peace.
